Respect for people includes respect for their information.
This page explains what information the Bridge Institute website collects, why it is used, and the services involved in handling it.
Information you choose to provide
If you submit an inquiry, the site may collect your name, email address, organization, area of interest, and the message you send. If you join the email list, the site collects your email address and may collect your name and basic source information about the page or campaign that led to the signup.
For first-touch attribution, the site may temporarily keep landing-page, referrer, and UTM campaign values in your browser’s session storage and submit those values only when you choose to send a form.
How the information is used
The Institute uses submitted information to respond to inquiries, discuss programs or partnerships, maintain its contact and newsletter records, understand which outreach efforts are useful, and communicate about Institute programs, research, conversations, and ways to participate.
Services that process information
The website is hosted on GoDaddy. Inquiry and newsletter forms are processed by server-side PHP scripts on the site. Submissions may be stored in protected server-side records as a delivery and recovery measure. Where configured, newsletter signups may also be relayed to the Institute’s authenticated n8n workflow and contact records, including Google Sheets. These services process information on behalf of the Institute under their own security and privacy practices.
Public videos use YouTube-related services. Video players are loaded from YouTube’s privacy-enhanced domain when a visitor chooses to play a video, while video thumbnail images may be requested from YouTube before playback. Links to Substack, Change.org, research repositories, and other external websites are governed by those sites’ privacy practices.
Email updates
If you join the email list, the Institute may send occasional updates related to its mission and programs. You may ask to stop receiving those updates at any time by contacting the Institute or by using the unsubscribe option included in an email, when available.
Sharing and sale of personal information
The Bridge Institute does not sell personal information. Information may be shared with service providers when reasonably necessary to operate the website, store submissions, send requested communications, or maintain the Institute’s systems.
Retention and requests
Information is retained for as long as reasonably needed for the purpose for which it was submitted, for organizational records, or as required by law. To ask about information you submitted, request a correction, or request deletion where appropriate, contact TheBridgeULR@gmail.com.
